Frequently Asked Questions

Who is an ideal patient for Chu Precision Health Center?

Our patients come to us with a simple goal: to understand what’s really going on inside their body and do something meaningful about it.  Maybe you’ve been told your labs are “normal” but you still don’t feel your best. Maybe you’re focused on performing at a high level and want to stay that way for decades to come. Or maybe you simply want to understand what’s happening inside your body before a problem ever develops. If you’re ready to go beyond the surface and invest in a science-based, personalized plan built around your unique biology and goals — you’re exactly who we’re here for.

Do you replace my primary physician?

No, and that’s by design. We enhance your primary physician’s care by focusing on your day-to-day natural health.  Chu Precision Health Center focuses on root cause analysis, preventive health, and longevity planning.

For acute concerns such as infections, injuries, or urgent medical needs, your PCP or urgent care facility remains the appropriate point of contact.

We actively coordinate with your primary physician and will provide them with comprehensive reports of your testing and protocol.

How is Bio Blueprint Analysis different from standard lab work?

Standard labs are designed to detect disease once it is already present. Bio Blueprint Analysis goes significantly deeper; assessing your genetic predispositions, biological age, comprehensive hormone balance, microbiome health, metabolic function, and advanced biomarkers. The goal is not just to catch problems, but to understand your unique biology well enough to optimize your health and identify risks years before they become clinical diagnoses.

How long before I see results?

Many patients notice improvements within 30–60 days, with meaningful biomarker changes typically occurring within 3–6 months. However, it’s important to remember that there are no simple solutions. It takes time and commitment to see change, so we must work together to follow your personalized health plan to garner real results.

Do you accept insurance?

Chu Precision Health Center is a direct-pay practice and does not bill insurance carriers. We accept all major credit cards, health savings accounts (HSA), and flexible spending accounts (FSA). Some insurance plans may provide partial reimbursement for certain diagnostic tests — we recommend checking with your provider. We are happy to provide documentation to support your claim. Payment plans may also be available for the VIP Plan upon request.

Are Bio Blueprint Analysis labs covered by insurance?

Coverage varies by plan.  Some of the lab work included in your Bio Blueprint Analysis may be covered or partially reimbursed by your insurance provider. We recommend checking directly with your insurance company to understand your benefits. If needed, we are happy to provide documentation for you to submit on your behalf.
